Terms of Service
Last updated July 18, 2026
By using Tip2Skip you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Tip2Skip lets fans request songs and optionally tip for priority during live DJ, karaoke, and jukebox sessions, and lets DJs and venues manage those sessions and receive payouts.
Tips and payments
- Tips and skip payments are voluntary and are processed by Stripe.
- Tip2Skip charges a platform fee (currently 5%) on paid tips; the remainder is routed to the DJ or venue.
- A tip does not guarantee that a song will be played or the order in which it will play — the DJ retains full control over the set.
- Your card is authorized when you make a request, but only charged when the DJ actually plays your song. If the DJ removes the request or the set ends before it is played, the authorization is released and you are never charged. Anything already charged is refunded through Stripe and takes 5–10 business days to appear on your statement. Other refund requests are handled case by case; contact us if you have an issue with a payment.
Acceptable use
- Do not submit unlawful, harassing, or infringing content.
- Do not attempt to disrupt sessions, tamper with queues you do not control, or circumvent security or payment controls.
- DJs and venues are responsible for the content they play and host.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and session PIN secure. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Tip2Skip is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
