Privacy Policy

Last updated July 18, 2026

This policy explains what information Tip2Skip collects when you use our website and live-session tools, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to fans, DJs, and venues.

Information we collect

  • Fans: the display name you enter when you request a song and the details of that request (track, optional tip amount). No account is required to request a song.
  • DJs and venues: the email address, display name, and profile details you provide when you create an account.
  • Payments: tips and skips are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are entered directly into Stripe and are never received or stored by Tip2Skip. We retain only a payment reference, the amount, and the session it belongs to.
  • Technical data: basic request and error logs needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

  • To run live sessions — showing the queue, now-playing, and tips.
  • To route payouts to DJs and venues and calculate our platform fee.
  • To provide dashboards, earnings summaries, and support.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers that make Tip2Skip work — primarily Stripe (payments and payouts) and our hosting and database providers — and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Retention

We keep account and payment records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Session queue data is transient and is not intended to identify you after the event.

Your choices

You can request access to or deletion of your account information by contacting us. Because fan song requests use only a display name you choose, you control how identifiable that is.
